This is the first evidence Otis found with a direct link to Lincolnshire.
It's a 1971 album by Kingdom Come which was largely Arthur Brown's band after he had recorded and toured as The Crazy World of Arthur Brown. Another great British eccentric of the 60s and 70s, Vivian Stanshall of The Bonzo Dog Doo-Da Band shares a writing credit for the song Brains on the album. What a meeting of minds that must have been!

The stand-out track for me is the song Sunrise, where Gainsborough born Andy Dolby plays magnificent lead guitar. For many people, this and the follow up album Journey are some of the finest examples of the much maligned Prog Rock genre.
I was first introduced to this album in 1971 by a young lecturer in the Education department at York University called Graham Vulliamy. After a successful career, as a Professor of Education at York, he went on to develop his interest in popular music, even to the extent of writing books about how to use it in the classroom.
This image shows the reverse side of the front cover. It is a continuation of the front but shows the main man Arthur Brown and the Gainsborough lad, Andy Dalby.
